Guided Treks to Kilimanjaro | Guided Walks in the Drakensberg Range

Walking – Kilimanjaro and Drakensberg

Africa - From the Rooftop to the Ranges

Guided Walking Holidays in Africa

A free Serengeti balloon flight could be yours - just for booking*

Enjoy our own personal game safaris through Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Serengeti national parks; stand on Africa's highest peak (optional), then skip down to the northern Drakensberg, one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world. Africa is at your feet...

Tanzania boasts not only the Big Five. Her grass plains are extensive and harbour a host of other game and scores of birds, all existing alongside the Masai people's livestock. To visit Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera is a surreal adventure. You'll wonder at how old the human race really is as you pass by Olduvai Gorge where evidence of the earliest humans were unearthed.

( * In conjunction with our Tanzanian operators we are able to offer one free balloon ride at dawn over the Serengeti plains. Our numbers are limited so you have a one in 12 chance of winning if the trip is fully booked!)

'Kili' is the highest free standing mountain in the world - to climb it is an unforgettable experience.

Then you'll discover the magic that is the northern Drakensberg Range. Nowhere is the escarpment more dramatic as the mountains run like the spine of a dragon, and nowhere does the word 'Zulu' seem more appropriate. It's about the landscape and the people and we are privileged to share it. The softer green lands of the Low Berg lie in stark contrast as you peer down from the huge basalt pinnacles and knife-edge, narrow ridges of rock.

Africa - no other continent in the world resonates with the sounds, sights and smells that are Africa.
